Thank you Pete. Wishing the best for you and Johnny as well! I think it will be a good year. I have a lot to be grateful for, truly. Time-wise, work will have some peaks in late May/early June and August-early November, but mostly valleys and I can't complain about that!!

Thank YOU Pete! I'm going to try to write more this year. It'd be nice to meet IRL someday.

185 was really strong, but 200 wasn't to be today. I'll try it again in a week or two.

Can you post a pic of the V-Bar Boris? I'm having trouble visualising it. Is it the same as a pulldown/row v-bar?

Here's Adam Glass working w. the v-bar. He's not standing completely up w. the weight, but it is still ridiculous that he's pulling it off the floor.

Yep. V = vertical. I wouldn't say I've made great progress in this, but I've been diligent the past few months. I think 200 will come around.

Thursday, February 2, 2017 SQ: bar x 10, 135 x 10, 205 x 12 (1:00), 205+some chains x 9 (1:00)
This was tough today. Turns out I was coming down w. some kind of stomach flu-like thing that made Friday-Sun morning difficult.
Sunday, February 5 Micro-band work (Y-pull -> Pull-backs -> pull-parts): 20/20/20 x 2sets Stretching
Normally, I wouldn't list stretching, but it's been so long since I've spent much time just stretching and being sick that I decided to note it.
Monday, February 6, 2017 OA DL w. 2" v-bar: 60lb x 10/10, 115 x 5/5, 160 x 2/2, 170 x 2/2 x 2sets, 175lb x 2/2 x 2sets
Grip felt very good. Probably could have gone heavier, but I wanted to feel strong w. the weights I was using.
