I know you mean well, but actually it is a pretty steep price Pete. It's complicated and I accept it now as a part of my career choice, but when my lad was a wee lad, I had a hard time not resenting the time away from family and what essentially amounts to 100+ hours of unpaid work to go to a country that I go to regularly anyway. There are perks to the trip, yes, but it's costly.
Sorry - don't mean to dump on you. I don't post crap like this on FB, but yeah...

Jet lag is still pretty bad, but I coached last night, and at a meet this afternoon - I'll probably be back to normal by Monday.

Had a swim meet over the weekend. Pretty busy. Good part is that I'm over my jet-lag. Bad part is that I'm not even unpacked yet.
