Hey,
Me and Mr. Smith were talking and we think the weekend of 9/30 would be a good time for me to visit. Are you going to be around at that time?

That sounds good Johnny. Let me make sure we'll be around - the wifey has some conferences this fall.
Sunday, September 4, 2011 5:00 of "The Eagle" w. 24kg KBs: SQs x 5 + 20m farmers x 6
Starting to feel a lot better w. this complex - if I did it untimed, I think I could do at least a couple more sets. DJ says they do 8 x 8 - that's pretty hardcore.

Monday, September 5, 2011 5:00 of Pull-Ups/Chins: x10, 6, 6, 5, 4, 3 = 34 reps
I felt heavy today. The three-day weekend is to blame I guess...

Thursday, September 8, 20115:00 of TGUs (w. 16kg KB): x3/3/1/1 5:00 really isn't enough time I've decided. TGUs just aren't a rush-through-them exercise. I could add weight, and it would be a little more challenging, but then I'd get even less reps. Probably switch to 5:00/side next week. I've decided to name all of this "Training For The Truly Overwhelmed" - I wrote about it here: squatrx.blogspot.com/2011/09/training-for-truly-overwhelmed.htmlAs a base, it's not all that bad and if you were to add more goal-focused exercises/training to it, you'd have a pretty solid plan for most things.

Perhaps Pete. It sure doesn't seem to be getting easier with age. Saturday, September 10, 2011 5:00 Axle RDL: x10, 10, 6, 8, 8
Last night was busy - went to the dog park and school FB game. Spent a few hours at work today trying to catch up.

Good to see that you're managing to get some workouts in Boris.
It's extra tough when one of your kids is unwell.
Hope the son gets well soon.
