Working on some goals for 2018. Probably most of the goals from 2017 are good for 2018 (even the ones I was successful with) and I can copy and modify here:
*Train " more often than not"- this has gone well the past couple of years. Keeping track makes it easier to put in a training session even when I don't feel like it. In 2017, I got 300 days of some kind of training in - that's pretty d**n good and if I'm in the ballpark of this in 2018, I'd call that a success.
*One-Arm DL 200lbs on the 2" vertical bar - pulled this off in 2017. I'd like to push this up a bit or at least do it with more confidence and consistently in 2018.
* Chin-ups: 20 reps - I did this in 2016. Didn't make it happen in 2017. With a little weight loss it'd be easier...
* Squat bdwt on bar x age - Training towards this went well, but it didn't happen. I hope I can keep the momentum going and do this in January of 2018.
* Push-Ups x 100 - I think the best I've ever done was 90-something when I was in my mid-20s.[/s] - I'll keep push-ups in the rotation, but I think 100 reps might not be in the cards - 50-75 outstanding reps is very doable though.
* KB Snatch (53lb) x 1 hour - It's been a long time since I've done kettlebell training and I need something cardio-ish. I've done this for 30 minutes straight before, but that was at least a couple of years ago. I think of the group, this will be the toughest to get done.
