Saturday, October 1, 2011 Johnny came to town so we loaded up the Axle for some DLs for Johnny, then followed that up w. a v-bar DL contest (Mr. Smith won w. 145lbs on the bar, Johnny had 135lbs, and I had less...), and finished w. some of "The Eagle" for Johnny and I. Good times.
Monday, October 2, 2011 Took the lad to "the hill". He did some skipping and mechanical work. Both of us had fun, I think.

Soo, I was rushed and figured I should at least pump out some squats. Having a barbell on my back felt very good, but I felt... I don't know, "tight" I guess. Then, I started getting pain in my left hammy... so, I called it after three sets.

Friday, October 14, 2011 Did Muay Thai w. my son in his class (Friday's "family night") - it was the first time I've kicked a bag hard in probably 20+ years. Felt pretty good, but I'll feel it tomorrow. We went to the HS football game afterwards. I'm a tired puppy right now.

So, apparently, with all that kicking on Friday, I end up spraining my right ankle. I walked so jacked up on Saturday and Sunday that I have mild shin splints and cranked down hips and IT bands... Lovely.
