Well.....time has come again. 2009 is all but over and 2010 nearly upon us. I HATE making resolutions, but love setting goals (especially with my health/fitness ) After a quick look at Boris's 2009 resolution Thread I think I managed to achieve something. My form has improved hugely in 2009 and my joints and body thank me. Highlights from 2009Best DiscoveriesSquatRx!! The Overhead Squat My Hips! (I used to be a Quad Squatter....nearly 100%) This Forum Sherdog Re-disciovering the Deadlift ITB... Knee prehab 2010 GoalsSquat200kg x10 by end of year 150kg x20 as above OHS bodyweight for 1 All else 20 Chins 200kg for reps in Deadlift.....with overhand (palms same way) grip 100kg for reps in Bench (my bench has always lagged ) Bodyweight OHP Do more lunges and unilateral movements.... Cycle (combined) 3500km (time is the issue here as is weather ) Well.. now I've written down some figures....I'd better get down to work! Peace, health and happiness to you all in 2010. Peter

Thanks Pete for sharing that.
I think that I did okay w. my resolutions for 2009 - squats were okay until the stands folded up like a lawn chair. Caffeine is still an issue for me. KB work and "business" went well.
...For 2010
I think these are not unrealistic, but suitably ambitions goals. * GS numbers (kb snatch= 80 reps w. 32kg bell, and jerks = 30 reps w. 32kg bells) * Pull-Ups = 30 reps * Actually make enough $ from training (and training related things like writing) to pay for my training... * Get my caffeine addiction under control

2009 resolution was to not eat chocolate for a year which I managed to stick through the whole year (though the past few days have been a bit of a binge, I will resume the chocolate ban almost entirely at the end of this week).
2010 resolution:
250/350/450, modest goals Improve my mobility / fitness 100 hours of community service
No: McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Takeaway Pizza, Kebabs, Potato Chips

I know I'm very late to the party on this, but I didn't realize this thread had started until Boris mentioned it.
I don't like making resolutions so these are goals I carry through 2010 from '09.
700 Sumo Deadlift 405 Bench Press Gain just a few more lbs of muscle
