Johnny,
I really hope you're just messing with me. Look, I know you are a nice guy who takes people on their word about training and numbers, and I do too most of the time because I have better things to do than wonder whether some guy really lifts what he says he lifts or not, but that dude is seriously full of ****. Most of the things I'd say were already posted by others.
...and Colin posted it to boot! I don't know who "Dante" is, and he seems to be sincere, but those powerlifting results don't do much to add credibility to the idea of a 765lb squat either.

I don't think Adrian Wilson can squat 765. Very explosive and I'm sure he could squat A LOT if he decided that's what he wanted to do and trained for it, but seeing someone hurdle doesn't get me thinking about their squat. Here's how I feel about Adrian's video. I'd comment on the other, but I don't want to go on and on about it and sound like a cynical bee-yotch. Adrian Wilson is a pro athlete that has nothing whatsoever to prove. In Adrian Wilson's video, the camera angle is not low. In Adrian Wilson's video there are people holding the poles giving some reference point as to the height of the jump. btw, here's a very, very impressive video of someone jumping over a queen-sized bed. I wonder how much he can squat... Check it out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjGecuM_Egg&NR=1

I agree that A.Wilson can't squat 765. I am sure he is over 500 though. I have seen him in quite a few games(against the Cowboys) and he looks like an absolute beast in pads.
However, I didn't mean that he can squat 765. As I said, he can develop an awful lot of power. Same as Castleberry. In that hurdle jump Brad does, it looks to be at least 65 inches high. He stands about 5'10-5'11, and it takes a tremendous amount of power to bound that high. In fact, it is more impressive than Wilson's jump. IMO.
So, because he can jump that high without concentrating on that type of training but focuses on weights for bodybuilding it seems more plausible that he can squat the huge amount of weight in the vids. Btw, that bed jump isn't half bad either.

I think we just have totally different opinions on this one Johnny. How did you figure his jump to be 65"? I don't consider myself explosive at all, but I'm pretty d**n sure I could do that "bed hurdle".

It was more of an educated guess. Comparing the height in his vid to my 42" box jump.
