I figured to start a permanent log here.
Squatted Friday the 13th:
55 x 10
145 x 10
235 x 7
325 x 5
375 x 10
375 x 10
Straight legged DL's:
135 x 10
225 x 10
315 x 10
315 x 10
AB wheel 3 sets of 10, last three reps were a killer.
Just wanted to get the blood flow back into the legs and start working on endurance for the upcoming strongman meets. Found a new contest on June 11 thats only an hour away in Canada. So thats two contests in two weeks, the 11th and the 19th.
Did nothing Saturday since the kids had a lacrosse game.
Sunday:
Dragged the sled for 25 minutes.
100 lb plate 15 minutes forward then 10 minutes backward.
Flipped 600lb tire for 4 sets
12 flips
15 flips
15 flips
19 flips- wanted 20 but was out of gas. nutsty training partner was a no show.

Fell off the internet for a few days and couldnt get on until now.
I will try and remember my last few training sessions.
Friday 5-27
Clean log day
Power cleans inside rack from knee with bar
Bar x 20
85 x 10
135 x 10
185 x 10
225 x 5
Log cleans
Log x 10
Log+20 x 10
Log+40 x 8
Log+50 x 8
For fun and beginning grip stuf I started doing high pulls with the solid bar.
Axle- 75 lbs 2" diameter
Axle+50lbs x 8 x 3 sets
Pulldowns (narrow bar)
4 sets of 12 reps
Did an contest type day on 5-28
Farmers Walk
100 per hand x 200ft
170 per hand x 200ft
220 per hand x 200ft x 2 sets
Loaded implements to 350 per hand and did holds
12 secs
17 secs
22 secs
Log Press (one clean)
220 x 18
235 x 13
250 x 12
Sled Drag (sled weighs 150lbs cold)
400lbs x 100ft
450lbs x 100 ft
475 x 150 ft
Very winded after last set, after cooling down wasnt in the mood for anything else. Went home and watched 2 lacrosse games on TV before getting energy enough to cook on the grill.
Still felt workout on 5-29-05
Was bored on 5-30, so I decided to flip the tire.
8 sets of 12 flips, scraped the snot out of my front shoulders.
